University Drive was founded by TV producer Marc Istook and college admission expert Shannon Meairs to demystify the admission process through entertaining, informative video content and web resources.

Shannon Meairs, Co-Founder/CEO

Shannon is Founder and CEO of Full Ride, Inc., a college admission consulting company that has helped hundreds of students successfully navigate the college admission process. She also co-created and produced ABC's "The Scholar", a college admission-based reality show where 10 high-achieving high school seniors competed for a full ride scholarship.  A member of the National Association of College Admission Counselors, Shannon graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA with a BA in Psychology, and also received her MS in Organizational Development from Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.

Marc Istook, Co-Founder/President/Executive Producer

Marc is an award-winning television producer and host whose work can currently be seen on the TV Guide Network's daily entertainment news show, "Hollywood 411".  Prior to partnering with Shannon to found University Drive, he hosted a kitchen gadget show for the Food Network titled, "Gotta Get It”, and won a STAR Award for his work as Executive Producer and Host of "Get Out!", a show highlighting fun things to do in the Los Angeles area.  Mr. Istook has a BA in Radio/Television/Film from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX.

Justin Jeter, Chief Operating Officer

Justin has experience in strategic development, operations, and marketing.  He comes to University Drive from DealMaven, Inc. in New York, where he managed a financial analysis training program preparing young financiers to succeed on Wall Street.  Previously, he worked in business development at the Leo Burnett Company, a marketing firm in Chicago, IL, and as Director of a church-based youth program in Texas.  Mr. Jeter graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin, and also holds a Master’s degree from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA.
